Lassis are a staple in the Indian and Ayurvedic kitchen. Use flavorful tropical fruit such as mango, maracuja or guanabana. This recipe calls for mango, but can be replaced with other tropical fruit purees. Instead of sugar or honey, use salt to prepare a salty lassi.
Ingredients
1 cup of yoghurt
1/2 cup of milk
7 oz Mango puree
Sugar or honey to taste
A dash of cardamon
Preparation
Put all ingredients into a blender and mix on medium speed for about 1 minute. Serve fresh with a touch of cardamon on top. Will keep well in fridge for about a day. On a hot summer day, pour over a few ice cubes.
